Graduate Operations Analyst - Newcastle (onsite) - £33k Have you achieved or are set to graduate with a first-class degree from a top-tier university in Maths, Finance, or Economics? You could be progressing your career at a FinTech start-up. They have secure backing and an established Hedge Fund client as a partner; this is an excellent opportunity to join a scaling tech company and gain valuable finance experience. As a Graduate Operations Analyst, you will join a small team with a variety of projects from designing, building, and performing daily controls through a suite of reconciliations (position, trade, cash) across Equities, Fixed Income, Rates, Futures, Credit, and Commodities asset classes, to providing core operational support, working with technology and external vendors to build scalable and efficient processes. You'll ensure oversight and appropriate escalation responses are in place for all post-trade processes. You'll be supported, mentored, and empowered, learning from industry experts in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Location / WFH: You'll join colleagues in Central Newcastle offices on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday). About you: You have an outstanding record of academic achievement - minimum 2.1 in Mathematics, Finance, Economics (or closely related discipline) from a top-tier university (i.e. Russell Group or top 100 global university), backed by A grades at A-level. You are naturally curious, enjoy problem-solving, and have advanced analytical skills. You have a keen interest in financial markets and are motivated to learn more and progress your career in this area. You have excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
