Our successful engineering client, due to a recent retiral, is looking to bring in a graduate into their planning team. The role involves:
Receiving production requests
Inputting part numbers into the ERP system
Creating and verifying production routines
Liaising with different departments
The initial focus will be to understand the company's ERP system and learn how to input the necessary data for effective production planning. As the role progresses, the candidate will gain more technical exposure, working with engineering drawings and understanding manufacturing processes across different departments.
Ideal candidates should have a technical background and be willing to learn the system's intricacies, with the ability to understand technical drawings and production processes.
