You’ll join a passionate team dedicated to creating a safe, structured environment where children can overcome challenges and flourish. As a Play Therapist, you will: Deliver tailored one-to-one and small group therapy sessions, empowering children to overcome barriers and grow in confidence. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to create individualised therapy plans. Lead staff training on therapeutic approaches and engage families through workshops and regular communication. Provide immediate, in-the-moment support to children, fostering a culture of care and emotional safety. Contribute to the school’s ethos of inclusion, compassion, and excellence in education. Utilise exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to connect with children, families, and colleagues. Maintain a reflective, growth-oriented mindset and a passion for professional development. Demonstrate strong resilience and adaptability to support children with complex SEMH needs and challenging behaviors. Possess a deep understanding of child development, trauma, and the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
