With a primary focus on the Nuclear Sector, our Technical Communities based in the South West of England are making valuable contributions to the mega-infrastructure, Nuclear New Build project at Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC).

Training and Development
Be assured that when you join our team, we’ll ensure you have the relevant training and development you need to do your job well and become part of a successful business:
- Start with an induction training with topics like Introduction to Nuclear, Nuclear Safety, guest speakers from the Nuclear Sector and ice-breaker activities.
- Develop your softer skills with training to prepare and develop your approach to working with colleagues and the client.
- Vulcain can support on training with the UK-SPEC in mind – such as, Commercial Awareness, Risk Management and the APM-PFQ.
- We will work with you to assign you a Vulcain mentor as you begin your career with us.
- You will become a STEM ambassador as part of our corporate social responsibility.
- You will be actively encouraged to continue your professional development towards Chartership.
- The potential to visit sites like Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C or even sites like Flamanville Nuclear Power Plant.
- You may even be asked to work from one of our abroad offices for a period of time.
Qualifications
- You should hold or be about to complete a degree in an Engineering or STEM or Project Management related discipline (First or Upper Second).
