This Special Educational Needs School near Aldershot is for children aged 4-16 with severe learning difficulties (SLD). Most children have speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), and an Autism diagnosis. This school is looking for a passionate and committed Graduate / Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant. You will be supporting a small class of 7-10 students, working in partnership with the school's teaching staff, therapists and support staff to deliver specific interventions that aim to boost students’ learning, development and language acquisition. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a qualified Speech and Language Therapists, Teachers, and other professionals, and deliver interventions to children with speech, language and communicational needs both in small groups and 1:1. You will make a real difference to the lives of the children, gaining vital experience which will enable you to kick-start your future career.
