Studies, Tendering and Tech Advisory Mng Your role and responsibilities

A key role in assisting the Energy Industries UK Sales team, the Graduate Sales Engineer will support the varied Sales activities of the business. This will include supporting Front End Sales, Market & Communications, Analytics & Salesforce, Commercial / Legal, and Studies, Tendering & Technical Advisory functions within the overall sales team, and elements of external engagement with our customers and stakeholders. Your responsibilities: Aiding sales colleagues in specifying optimal, cost-effective solutions to meet customers’ needs. Supporting Bid Managers with developing high quality / compelling propositions to our end customers. Liaising with our Operations teams, to ensure the optimal collaborative team are engaged with our end customers. Supporting the marketing program and events, to further position and maintain ABB’s status as a leader in the energy industries market. Assessing data from our external systems, including our CRM tool, to make better informed decisions, and to ensure high data quality. Provide assistance and input in meetings, customer presentations and negotiations. Studying customers’ needs and competitors’ offerings through market intelligence and insight from the sales teams. Qualifications for the role

Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in a Management / Business topic, or an Engineering topic with a desire to focus on Commercial business elements. Self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies. A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills. Located close to, or willing to relocate to, ABB’s St Neots office location. More about us
