An exciting opportunity with a growing business who are currently recruiting for a Graduate Sales Engineer in their Newport site. As a Graduate Sales Engineer, you will be supporting and liaising with clients to help sell products manufactured on-site, and use CAD packages to adapt their design to fit the bespoke needs of the client. An ideal candidate for this position will come from a Mechanical Engineering background, and be proficient in CAD packages, including Autodesk and Inventor. This is an office-based role with exciting opportunities to manufacture products on the shop-floor. Role & Responsibilities: Liaise with clients regarding product design requests - essential to have a strong mechanical engineering background to understand the product development involved in this position. Adapt standard products using CAD packages (Inventor and Autodesk) to meet clients' bespoke needs. A varied position - predominantly tech sales focused but other responsibilities will include admin tasks, CAD usage, and sometimes manufacturing products on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and willing to throw themselves into a role where they can develop their skills greatly. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: A recognised qualification in mechanical engineering (HNC/HND/NVQ/BEng/MEng etc.) Experience with CAD (Autodesk and Inventor) Understanding of ISO 9001, 18001, 45001 & auditing Tech sales experience - preferred but not essential Experience within a manufacturing company (ideally heavy industry/steel) - preferred but not essential This position is perfect for someone who is willing to throw themselves into a role and is motivated to learn and upscale their skills.
