Graduate SEN TA Are you a recent graduate passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? Do you have the drive and compassion to support children with Autism in their learning journey? We have an exciting opportunity for you! About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of an outstanding SEN school that caters specifically for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally. Working closely with experienced teachers and SEN professionals, you'll help create a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to each child's needs. Key Responsibilities: Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons to meet the needs of pupils with Autism Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development Implementing behaviour management strategies in line with the school's policies Helping to create a safe and inclusive classroom environment Monitoring and reporting on students' progress to teaching staff What We Are Looking For: A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (Desirable) A genuine passion for working with children with SEN, particularly Autism Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to challenging situations Previous experience in an SEN environment (either voluntary or paid) is advantageous but not essential Why Choose Us?
