We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Graduate Site Engineer

to join a construction team delivering high-profile infrastructure projects in Devonport. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop their engineering career in a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will work on challenging and innovative projects, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to the successful delivery of large-scale engineering works. Key Responsibilities: Setting Out and Surveying: Assist in site surveys and establish engineering controls for construction activities. Conduct accurate setting out using modern equipment such as GPS and total stations. Project Coordination: Collaborate with site managers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to schedules. Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures and ensure work is carried out to a high standard. Assist in the preparation of as-built records and quality documentation. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Promote a strong safety culture and support the enforcement of health and safety policies. Conduct risk assessments and ensure activities comply with environmental regulations.

Requirements: A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Strong technical knowledge and a keen interest in construction engineering. Familiarity with surveying equipment and CAD software is advantageous. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. An analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid driving license.
