32k-36k plus benefits Ready to join a company that thrives on challenges and exciting new projects? Our client is looking for a graduate structural engineer to strengthen the team in Maidstone. You will have at least 2 years' experience and be seeking a role that offers excellent career progression. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects spanning the commercial, retail, residential, and industrial sectors. Our client is very well-known across the industry and has a healthy order book and an expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality technical documents, including dilapidation reports and due diligence structural surveys. You will undertake analysis and design using hand calculations as well as a range of software packages, including Tekla. You will ensure that the quality and consistency of technical output (drawings, reports, calculations, etc.) is always maintained. To be considered for this role, you will need the following: A degree in Structural Engineering At least 2 years' post-graduation experience is essential, working in a consultancy (UK-based experience to be 2+ years minimum and recent) Ability and confidence to work in all common forms of construction, materials, and building types Working knowledge of EuroCodes & British Standards Positive and reliable work ethic Full, clean driving licence You will also need excellent communication and numerical skills. Experience in working on listed and historical buildings would be advantageous. The successful candidate should be able to showcase experience of working on large projects, including offices, hotels, and housing developments.
