The chosen applicant will work closely with a Senior Structural Engineer and other project Design Engineers and Technicians in the design and management of a wide range of projects. They will also coordinate with our Civils and Drainage department. Graduates will be trained in the use of various finite element software analysis and design packages (ETABS, Autodesk Robot, RAM Structural System, RAM Concept, CSC Tedds), and will be trained to use hand calculations for scheme design and design verification. Graduates will learn how to efficiently analyse large scale projects and be taught how to produce economic designs for building elements. With time they will learn to manage the production and updating of project drawings to reflect their design through working closely with our Revit / CAD Technicians / RC detailers. They will also liaise with external members of the design team and attend meetings and site with senior members of staff when required. Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Excellent communication skills. Competency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint. The ability to project a positive and professional attitude at all times. Good knowledge and use of appropriate project and design analysis software. Personable and a can-do attitude with resource management experience. Able to establish rapport and good working relationships within the project team and Clients. To be able to work as part of a team collaboratively and co-operatively. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and Word, AutoCAD, MicroStation a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills
