Graduate Structural Engineer Halesowen, Birmingham Circa: £22000 - £26,000 (Dep. on level of exp. skills.) Excellent opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join a very well established and busy Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy on the outskirts of Birmingham. If you are a graduate of Civil or Structural Engineering and have a clear passion for buildings and the design of structures then this is the perfect role for you. As a Graduate Engineer, you will be seeking a consultancy that can offer you a diversity in projects, a supportive and encouraging working environment in which you can personally and professionally progress. Responsibilities: Complete basic structural calculations for beams, columns, slabs, etc. Demonstrate a good grasp of the basic principles of building design. Understand design principles in common building materials, particularly steel and concrete. Show passion and enthusiasm for the design of buildings and a career within structural engineering. Minimum Requirements: Strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Evidence of a solid educational background. Desire to focus your career through to Chartership.
