Graduate Teaching Assistants

for secondary schools in Trafford for roles beginning asap. Roles are full time, long term, term-time only (8.30am-4pm). Responsibilities for Graduate Teaching Assistant include: Commit to supporting students in reaching their academic potential. Motivate and inspire students to actively participate in their learning journey. Provide tailored 1:1 support for students with additional needs, fostering their progress and confidence. Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive environment that promotes effective learning. Collaborate with teachers to support student learning, development, and classroom activities. Assist in managing behaviour effectively, reinforcing positive behaviour strategies. You will: Be educated to degree level in any subject area. Have previous support work experience within a school or other child-related experience. Demonstrate enthusiasm and a professional and friendly approach. Have knowledge and experience supporting children within special educational needs (desired). Secondary experience preferred but not essential. Ideally, you will already have some experience working with young people, or you may be considering furthering your career in education as a teacher (desirable but not essential). Maybe you are taking a year out before doing your Masters or a PGCE? Graduates from all subject areas are welcome to apply.
