We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a well-established secondary school in Lewisham. This full-time, long-term role offers you the opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and support students in their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them with their learning and development. Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons. Support students with additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. Help with classroom management and the general running of lessons. Support students in both academic and pastoral matters. Assist with the preparation and marking of coursework and assessments. Build positive relationships with students, encouraging their personal and academic growth.Requirements:

A degree in any subject (preferably related to education or a subject you are passionate about). Previous child-based experience is preferred but not required. A DBS on the update service is required (or willingness to obtain one). Strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting students' learning. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with young people. A positive and proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.Why Choose Us?
