Future Teachers Programme

offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience before enrolling in formal teacher training. This program is perfect for graduates who want to explore teaching and develop the skills needed to succeed in the classroom.

As a Future Teacher, you will work as a

Cover Supervisor

in a secondary school in Salford. Your role involves:

Supervising lessons during short-term teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task with work set by the teacher.

Providing a high-quality learning experience without the need for active teaching, marking, or lesson planning.

Gaining valuable insight into the daily responsibilities of a teacher.

We’re seeking confident and creative graduates with a passion for education and a willingness to inspire young minds. If you love a subject and enjoy engaging with others, this role offers a chance to bring your enthusiasm into the classroom.

Regular Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Earn While You Train:

Gain your PGCE and QTS while getting paid.

Develop practical teaching skills and build confidence.

Direct Payment:

During your time in the programme, you’ll:

Maintain a journal to reflect on your experiences and growth.

Observe and learn from teachers across various subjects.

Understand how to differentiate lessons, manage behaviour, and support pupils effectively.

Learn about school policies and their implementation.

Explore how your degree subject aligns with the school curriculum.

Assist students with coursework and exam preparation.
