Within this role you’ll be involved in software support and development projects of varying size and complexity, working with our clients to provide them with new and innovative software solutions that help them to successfully meet their business goals: Work with Clients to help define their requirements and ensure solutions that we deliver meet their requirements. Capturing and documenting Client use cases and requirements. Completing reviews and walkthroughs of documentation and of software changes, both internally and with Clients. Develop solutions based on technical designs. Work with the Client and Internal Testing teams to ensure an understanding of solutions and testing requirements. Collaborate with the wider Delivery Team when challenges are encountered during build. Ensure your development meets the FNZ coding standards and code reviews of solutions are performed. Execute Tests to validate the technical design, functional design and Client business requirements. Ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with established standards. Investigate and diagnose support issues, and working closely with Clients to ensure successful resolution. Coordinate with the Implementation/Release Team during projects and small changes. Provide feedback on project and support work to help contribute to the continuous improvement of the team and FNZ. Assist Clients in the implementation of Figaro functionality as necessary. This role demands individuals who: Are excellent problem solvers, capable of dealing with complex problems and rapidly evolving circumstances. Have excellent communication skills and professionalism. Have strong technology, analytical and data interpretation skills. Are comfortable with client and stakeholder interaction. Experience, knowledge and skills required: Degree educated in a technical subject (e.g. Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Engineering). Ideally have some understanding of wealth management practices (but training will be provided in this domain). Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills. Good team working and communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external Clients. Highly developed written and oral communication skills. Ideally some prior software development experience (although full training will be provided in programming languages and technologies that we use).
