Graduate Town Planner – Consultancy – Exeter
Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a forward-thinking specialist Planning and Development Consultancy in Exeter in their hire of an ambitious Graduate or Assistant Planner!
The current planning team has a wealth of experience in dealing with a variety of complex residential, commercial, retail, and urban regeneration development schemes. They specialise in leading multi-disciplinary teams in navigating strategic scale development projects through the planning system.
As part of the team, the successful applicant will assist in a variety of services and tasks which include planning applications, appraisals and strategy reports, land purchase and strategic promotion, EIA co-ordination and expert witness.
Candidate Requirements:
RTPI accredited degree in Planning or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in either the private or public sector advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Enthusiasm and a positive, can-do attitude are essential!
