Unlock your passions at Steffan Veterinary Services Steffan Veterinary Services is a mixed practice covering Small Animal, Equine and Farm animals based in Lampeter and have been part of the community, covering the West Wales countryside since the 1950's. We have two surgeries; the main surgery in Lampeter and a branch surgery in Tregaron. You may be required to work at our Tregaron practice occasionally. Both surgeries have ample parking for use when attending. We have a friendly and supportive team of 10 Vets, 7 Nurses and fantastic support and reception teams. Within our team, we have certificate holders in Small Animal Surgery and Sheep and Cattle. Our practice is fully equipped with small and large animal equipment. Small Animal equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasonography, dentistry, laboratory (in-house blood analysis including liver function and thyroid hormones, urine analysis and more) and surgery (emergency and routine including orthopaedic, soft tissue and neutering). Equine equipment includes ultrasonography, radiography, vaccination, sedation, dentistry, reproduction, worm egg counts and identichipping. Farm equipment includes cattle fertility (Easiscan, Interherd, Herd Companion and Interherd+), Herd and Flock Health Planning, TB Testing, emergency work, nutritional advice, pneumonia investigations, mastitis investigations, abortion investigations, Worm Egg Counting (cattle, sheep and horses with FECPAKG2), Ram Fertility Examinations (including electroejaculation and semen evaluation) and much more. Step into a supportive start 40 hours per week, 8:30am - 5:30pm. You will be part of our Large Animal only OOH rota working approximately 1 in 4. You will be supported by our super supportive, mixed Vet and Nurse team. We have an excellent support network at Steffan! Company vehicle provided and accommodation assistance possible at this practice. Caseload split of 50:50 SA/LA (LA mix of Farm and Equine). Flexibility with caseload.
