Academy Veterinary Centre is a supportive, mixed animal practice located in the lovely town of Stranraer in Dumfries and Galloway. We have a supportive and friendly team of 10 Vets, 3 RVNs, and a super Administrative team. Our fantastic Clinical Director holds a CertAVP (Cattle). As a well-established, mixed practice with an excellent reputation we have the equipment and facilities you would expect including full IDEXX suite, new small animal ultrasound, digital X-ray, Endoscope, Easiscan go scanning with tablet screens, and automated worm and fluke in-house analyser. You will work 42.5 hours per week. Our working day is 8:30am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am - 12am on Saturdays. We take pride in providing our own out of hours service to our clients. Our excellent on-call rota strikes a balance between time working and supporting each other. You will be assigned a VetGDP mentor as well as being part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team of Vets and support staff at all stages of their careers. Be part of something bigger
