Click Here . BWB Graduate Programme Our Graduate Programme is the perfect place for you if you are an ambitious and passionate individual. Our programme offers you the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented and respected engineers and consultants in the industry and help you reach your full potential through a technical syllabus & skills development programme. You will receive independent mentoring, support through to Chartership and the opportunity to gain responsibility on a range of exciting projects. About the Team Our Advisory Division is made up of highly qualified individuals with extensive experience in Environmental Engineering, Geotechnics, Contaminated Land, Ecology, Heritage, Flood Risk, Air Quality, Transport, and Acoustic disciplines. The Advisory Division works either as part of multi-disciplinary BWB project teams or independently for a range of key clients. We provide timely and cost-effective consultancy services to the development and property sector on projects of any type or size. The Water Team forms part of the Division and is comprised of qualified engineers and environmental consultants with specific experience in flood risk, drainage, hydraulic modelling and environmental planning/engineering disciplines. What you’ll be doing You will be involved in a wide range of projects, including Flood Risk Assessments, Hydraulic Modelling and Hydrology and Environmental Impact Assessments. BWB adopt a truly open, collaborative atmosphere where you will be encouraged to find solutions to issues arising on your own projects taking on board the advice, skills and expertise of others across our many disciplines and supported through our graduate training scheme. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering schemes of varying size, with support from a dedicated project manager, and the team around you. This includes devising appropriate solutions, producing drawings, authoring reports and interpreting calculations/software outputs. You will be highly organised, enthusiastic to learn, and will be curious with the aim of becoming technically independent. The role will be focused on servicing both internal and external clients as part of a delivery team and under the direction of a Team Leader. The ideal candidate will be dynamically seeking personal development, willing to accept challenges and thrive within a growing and diverse engineering environment. What you’ll bring A relevant degree or studying towards a relevant degree for the role you are applying for Grasp of key hydraulic and hydrology principals would be a benefit and ideally some knowledge of relevant software packages, including GIS and AutoCAD software, although training will be provided Great communication skills developed through well-rounded life experience - academically, socially and in any previous work situations Enthusiastic and ambitious to learn and progress A problem solver with strong communication skills Personal organisation skills, and the ability to work well within a team Right to Work and live in the UK.
