Avanti have partnered with a cutting-edge semiconductor company in Edinburgh who are looking to onboard a Graduate/Junior ASIC Test Development Engineer.
You'll design and develop test systems and solutions to test, characterize, validate, and evaluate the ASIC performance against its design requirements and datasheet specifications. With their team being comprised of experts in analog, digital, RF design and verification, there is massive potential for career growth.
You'll need:
A BEng/MEng in EEE or related field Experience of semiconductor development or testing, ideally through an internship Proficiency in Windows operating system and comfort using Microsoft Office software
Ideally you'll have: Experience with at least one of Python, VBA, C or Java Experience with a revision control system (preferably Git) and standard software development flow Familiarity with schematic capture and simulation in industry standard tools, for example Cadence Virtuoso Experience with Advantest or Teradyne mixed signal testers, and/or RF testing Experience with industry standard project management tools - Jira, Jama, and/or Confluence
