We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our Team to lead and manage the commercial function on a number of Hard FM maintenance contracts. Prepare and submit Estimates and Target Costs based on first principles for both minor and major Electrical works projects. Prepare and submit accurate budget costs following clients' initial brief. Prepare and submit detailed and accurate tender estimates. Review and analyse all relevant documentation. Value engineer projects to meet or exceed the clients' requirements. Liaise with clients to advise best solutions/values to clients. Identify potential risks with design/materials. Possess knowledge of local supply chain and experience in dealing with sub-contractors. Have knowledge of both NEC and JCT contracts. Meet tight deadlines and have experience of delivering minor works and major planned projects. Demonstrate strong communication skills and commercial awareness. Work closely with the commercial team on minor and major planned projects. This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the job title and the range of duties to be undertaken. It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals. About You Essential Criteria:

Demonstrate previous experience in a mechanical estimator role particularly within Hard FM Maintenance contracts. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the market. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of Electrical systems, materials, and Decarbonisation installation methods. Demonstrate strong communication skills. Experience of working to budgetary targets. Initiating, drafting, and reviewing documents. Excellent negotiation skills. Demonstrate proficiency in IT applications - e.g. Excel, Microsoft Word. Full UK Driving Licence. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of commercial and contractual issues in relation to Facilities Management and NEC 4. Desirable Criteria:

3rd Level Qualification. Experience of working within the blue light and educational sectors. Experience in open book accounting contracts.
