Graphic Designer £46,000 12 month contract City of London Hybrid working A large international law firm is looking for a middleweight Graphic Designer to join their in-house corporate design team on an initial 12-month contract with a view to be made permanent. The working hours will be 9am – 5:30pm on a full-time basis. The position is hybrid working of 3 days in the London office and 2 days working from home. The firm is based in beautiful offices in the City of London. The position will be working in the Brand and Marketing Operations team, which looks after events, design, website, email marketing, and the CRM system. The team, based in London, works globally to support the firmwide business plan and the practical implementation of all firmwide, sector initiatives, and marketing activity. This new contract position will be working within a design team of 4 alongside a senior designer and design manager. You will be one of the principal brand guardians, responsible for ensuring that their marketing collateral supports and delivers against the firm's business objective to be a leader in its chosen sectors of focus. Core aspects of the role include, but are not limited to: The design and production of a wide range of print and digital marketing materials including client bulletins, brochures, guides, and co-branded articles. Other materials could include advertising, event materials, presentations, and promotional goods. Maintaining asset libraries containing both staff and sector-based photography. Working with both internal and external print suppliers to produce materials in a timely manner. Maintaining the firm's brand guidelines, ensuring they develop in line with the firm's growth and needs. Collaborating with lawyers and members of the Marketing & Business Development team to harness cross-sell opportunities. Exploring new creative ideas and trends in both print and digital spaces. Monitoring changing trends and making recommendations for developments. The firm is looking for a corporate Graphic Designer who is flexible and has demonstrable design skills. A qualification in Graphic Design or equivalent and/or experience in designing for a corporate audience is essential. The firm is going through a period of rapid growth, so the ability to cope with change and a variable workload while delivering consistently high-quality output is essential. Technical skills required: Adobe CC (including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) Working knowledge of HTML Microsoft Office (specifically Word and PowerPoint; Excel knowledge an advantage) This role would suit a generalist designer/artworker with experience working within a corporate professional/financial services background.
