Job Reference : 19315 Band : C Salary : Up to £35,367 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. Contract type : Permanent role Location : This is an office-based role in Belfast, which will involve shift work, including weekends. Excellent career progression opportunities. The designer will develop and deliver content, ensuring it meets the highest creative and editorial standards while adhering to BBC guidelines. Your expertise will be utilized across all platforms, and you will be tasked with mentoring junior staff as required. Main Responsibilities

In-depth knowledge of the editorial agenda and contribution of editorial and creative design solutions across BBC NI Graphics. Undertake various graphic design duties. Produce distinctive content on multiple platforms. Accountable for the quality of work and ensuring it meets intended purposes. Ensure usability and accessibility of design deliveries for a broad audience. Ensure content reflects diverse audiences. Deliver content while adhering to BBC Editorial, Legal, and health and safety guidelines. Work effectively with other departments to maintain excellent relationships. Stay updated with emerging industry trends. Manage difficult stakeholders and deliver in fast-changing environments. Create a positive working environment for colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Understand the importance of the BBC's values in accuracy and impartiality. Passion for and understanding of the area in which the role operates. Experienced user of Adobe Creative Suite, VizRT, and Cinema 4D. Desirable to have knowledge of broadcast VR/AR design techniques. Good knowledge of local news and current affairs. Portfolio demonstrating excellent design work and creative flair. Ability to deliver various approaches and design styles. Able to discuss design decisions with a diverse range of people.
