Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team at the Animal Referral Hospital in Minchinbury. As the Nurse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of top-quality care to our patients, and fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. Responsibilities : Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal utilization of resources. Collaborate with veterinarians and other departments to optimize patient outcomes and client satisfaction. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards. Monitor and evaluate nursing practices to identify areas for improvement and implement quality improvement initiatives. Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning among the nursing staff. Participate in the emergency or surgery nurse roster as a clinical nurse, depending on skillset and experience. Requirements : Cert IV Qualified Vet Nurse Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a veterinary or animal care setting. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of veterinary nursing practices and procedures. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Commitment to providing compassionate care to animals and their owners.
