They facilitate the smooth and timely processing of passengers and carry out aviation security duties across the airport. Responsibilities include: Undergoing all required Security training to ensure compliance with CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), company, and aviation legislation and safety procedures. Screening passengers and baggage in line with CAA regulations. Monitoring the building and grounds through CCTV and physical patrols. Performing various paperwork and administrative duties. Working with team and colleagues from other departments to provide passengers with a positive journey. Embracing the Airport’s ‘One Team’ culture and supporting the business needs. Being available to work any shift during operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise To undertake this role, the following skills and experience are required: Ability to pass a colour-blind test for X-Ray Machines. Strong communication skills to confidently engage with colleagues and customers. Commitment to delivering excellent standards of customer service, quality, and attention to detail. Residency in the UK for the last 3 years for vetting requirements. Experience in security and aviation is preferred but not essential.
