Temporary (possibility to go perm) HRGO are currently looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Manager to support 3 hardworking Town Rangers with the upkeep and preservation of Shepton Mallet Town. The successful candidate must have extensive people management skills with practical knowledge and experience in ground maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Line management and daily supervision of three town rangers Developing and enhancing work schedules Creating frameworks for town-wide duties Identifying and facilitating team training Preparing a 2-3-year strategy Team development through demonstration and coaching Conducting evaluations and preparing action plans Performance management with HR support Requirements: Proven experience in people management and ground maintenance Excellent people management and practical skills Strong communication and strategic thinking abilities Candidate must be happy to work outdoors To note: PPE and uniform provided All tools and equipment provided Could potentially be a permanent position after 6 months Driving licence would be preferred but not essential If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please click 'apply now' and a consultant will be in contact.
