Grounds Maintenance Team Leader required to work for a prestigious Landscaping/Grounds Maintenance company in Plymouth and surrounding area. The role involves supervising teams of Grounds Maintenance Operatives working on parks and recreational areas of housing estates. You will require supervisory experience and an excellent knowledge of mowing (including ride on mowers), edging and fertilizing lawns, weed and mulch landscaped beds, trim hedges, shrubs and small trees, remove dead, damaged or unwanted trees and branches, plant flowers, trees, shrubs and other plants, apply pesticides, herbicides or other treatments to plants or soil, monitor and maintain plant health. A valid driving licence is essential for this position. This role will become permanent after a short qualifying period. A pleasant personality is also important, as you will be in contact on a daily basis with members of the public and local residents in the areas that you are working on. Pay Rates: £12.55ph rising to £15.75ph depending on experience and progression within the company grade structure.
