McGinley are seeking an experienced and skilled Drainage Working Ganger to lead a team of drainage operatives on a long-term housing project in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drainage works, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a team of operatives in drainage installation, maintenance, and repair works.
Conduct daily briefings, ensuring all team members understand the tasks and safety protocols.
Perform hands-on drainage tasks, including pipe laying, CCTV drainage inspections, manhole installations, and more.
Ensure all works are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers to maintain progress and resolve issues.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and team attendance.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Drainage Ganger.
Strong knowledge of drainage systems, pipe laying, and groundwork practices.
SSSTS, SMSTS or Gold CSCS.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Commitment to health and safety standards.
