Our projects range from small-scale renovations to large infrastructure developments. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Groundworker to join our client’s construction team. The Groundworker will be responsible for preparing and maintaining construction sites, ensuring they are safe and efficient for other trades to work. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Key Responsibilities: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and compacting earth materials. Install drainage systems, lay pipes, and set up manholes and inspection chambers. Mix and pour concrete for foundations, footings, and other structures. Assist with the installation of roadways, pathways, and other ground-level infrastructure. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on all projects. Work collaboratively with other construction professionals, including engineers, architects, and project managers. Perform general maintenance and repair tasks on construction sites as needed. Requirements: Proven experience as a Groundworker or in a similar role in the construction industry. Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints. Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the job. Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
