The company:

A fast-growing civils & groundworks contractor who work across both the main contracting and residential sector.

The role: Manage all aspects of groundwork projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution. Supervise on-site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly to maintain project timelines. Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications. Manage project budgets and resources effectively to optimize project outcomes. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement among on-site personnel.

About you: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Proven experience in managing groundwork and construction projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Certification in construction safety (e.g., OSHA 30) is a plus.

Qualifications: Must have a NVQ level 3 or above (Gold card or higher CSCS) CSCS Card (Essential) SMSTS (Essential) First Aid at Work
