community volunteering day . What you'll do day to day Correctly remove and replace the wheels of vehicles. Tighten wheel nuts to the correct torque setting on re-fitting the wheels to the vehicle. Inflate tyres to the car manufacturers' recommended tyre pressure. Carry out repairs to the correct British Safety Standards (BS AU159). Work alongside the vehicle technicians within the workshop. Assist with tyre inspection reporting on an EVHC report. Correctly measure tyre tread depth and report the correct tread depth readings. Helpful skills and qualifications Don't worry about ticking off every single skill here
