Based at West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds with travel across our sites as required: Abbeygate Sixth Form, Bury St Edmunds /One Sixth Form, Ipswich, Exning Primary School, Exning & SENDAT

Group Accountant (Academies)

We're looking for a Group Accountant to join our Group and play a key role in shaping our financial future. In this role, you'll manage everything from preparing consolidated financial statements to overseeing budgets for multiple schools, ensuring we stay compliant with education regulations. You'll also work closely with our senior leadership team to help drive financial strategy and lead a talented finance team to support the Group's goals.

If you're a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Ideally, you'll have strong post-qualification experience, especially in the education or charity sector, and know your way around accounting software like Sage or PS Financials.
