Your new role Financial Reporting: Consolidated Accounts. Prepare and manage cash flow statements. Execute and take ownership of trial balance analysis. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Supplier Invoices. Expense Claims. Supplier Invoice Approval. Create and post customer invoices and credit notes. Prepare monthly aged debtors/creditors listings, investigating and chasing any outstanding balances. Payments & Reconciliations: Weekly Supplier Payments. Post month-end journals, including depreciation, accruals, and prepayments. Bank Reconciliations. Payroll & Compliance: Process payroll ensuring compliance with regulations. Verify VAT for submission. Additional Duties: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year-end financial statements. Support audit requirements and provide necessary documentation. Assist with Know Your Customer (KYC) processes for shareholders. Share Certificates: Help with the registration of new investors. Manage insurance processes for the year. Handle pension-related tasks. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Part or newly qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of UK accounting principles and practices. Experience with international financial reporting. Familiarity with Xero accounting software. Previous experience in a multi-entity environment.
