Hutcheon Mearns have been engaged on an exclusive basis to source a Group Accountant on a full time, staff basis. Our client is a diversified industrial services group based in Aberdeen City Centre with hybrid and flexible working. This presents an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for career progression and development. You will play a key part in overseeing and managing the group’s strategic acquisition and post completion integration process, along with supporting on other key finance projects. You will work in a fast-paced environment in a varied/unique role which involves a hybrid of consolidation and deals. This role is suited to Newly Qualified Accountants with practice experience. The Opportunity

Monthly consolidations for all trading platforms plus overall group consolidated results Involvement in all aspects of deal flow – liaising with external advisers on buyside and sellside, strategic inputs around implications of acquisition on group results, group banking arrangements Assistance with cashflow forecasting and cashflow reporting Assistance with group audits both at group and subsidiary levels Background and Experience

Qualified Accountant (ACCA or ICAS) Practice experience Strong technical knowledge and experience in statutory accounts Deals or transaction support is desirable but not a requirement Proactive attitude and strength to work under pressure Able to convey financial information to a variety of stakeholders Flexibility and Benefits
