Job Description : You will be primarily responsible for the provision of professional level finance and accountancy services for the Place and Corporate Services directorate. This post has flexible working but will involve face-to-face meetings.
You will be the lead finance professional representing the Finance department internally and externally in respect of the Place and Corporate Services directorate. You will be responsible for co-ordinating and controlling the annual budget process, budget monitoring, and the financial year-end for the Place and Corporate Services directorate. You will attend monthly Performance and Financial Management meetings with the Director and Heads of Service to present financial information, challenge, and advise on matters that arise. You will be responsible for managing the Place and Corporate Services finance team within the Accountancy section.
