Group Accountant

A fast growing, PE backed business who are very acquisitive Genuine opportunity for progression and to work with a high calibre Finance team About Our Client My client is one of the North West's fastest growing businesses, having received PE investment 2 years ago. They have since tripled their turnover and made a series of acquisitions. They are market leaders in their industry and have experienced exponential growth. As a result of the continued growth, they are now looking to expand their Group Finance function and hire a strong, technically minded Accountant. Job Description Accounting for head office entities including journal posting and balance sheet reconciliations Establish and maintain a new intercompany process in collaboration with divisional finance, group treasury and finance system teams. Focus on capturing internal transactions accurately and "Right First Time" within the new finance system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and reporting outputs for matrix matching Support the Group FC in monitoring compliance with the group internal controls framework to support rapid future growth. Support the Group FC in coordinating the Group and entity audits Support the production of group 'glossy' Annual Report Assist in co-ordination of subsidiary statutory financial statements, supporting the wider finance team to ensure compliance with the standardised template. Support integration of acquired entities and acquisition accounting, where required Support anticipated IFRS transition in 1-2 years. The Successful Applicant ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified This role would suit someone making their 1st move from Practice from an Audit background - potentially Top 20 or someone already working in a Group Accountant role Strong technical financial accounting and reporting ability Attention to detail What's on Offer A competitive salary as well as an opportunity to work with a high calibre Finance team, in a business that is experiencing substantial growth.
