None MAIN PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES OF ROLE: Our mission:
To deliver an on-brand experience, evoking emotions & creating inspiring spaces. Working as part of the Sales teams within the different Sales divisions for both Showcase, Renovo and Showcase PSR Portsdown Ltd, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business contacts and opportunities. Developing and maintaining strong business to business relationships with all silos within Group maintaining a thorough understanding of what is being developed within each team. Delivering a cohesive New Business development strategy to help achieve the planned level of sales and gross profit, by identifying and developing projects and opportunities from within our identified target markets. You will need to agree and carry out the agreed sales activity plan as well as identifying sales opportunities and generally promote the Group companies’ capabilities. You will be required to attend a wide variety of networking events, industry connected seminars, supplier events and any specific event where it be deemed appropriate networking possibility for development of the business. KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To make your own appointments and to network with practices, cost consultants and external Project Managers at events and exhibitions. To maintain and develop existing & new face to face relationships within key existing accounts and to create and maximise on the sales opportunities within these accounts. Using a KAP devise and develop medium- and long-term sales and marketing Group wide strategies to develop a contact base outside of day-to-day team accounts. Maintain good connections with Group Targets, including Practices, Cost Consultancies and PM Companies. Working with and qualifying leads from on-going contacts, marketing campaigns, networking events and other methods of lead generation. Ensure effective use of published and referral leads. Prepare reports as requested on sales activities including a detailed monthly report to SLT detailing progress. Provide timely and accurate briefs to appropriate teams on handover of specific opportunities. Provide weekly sales progress on key opportunities. Maintain safe working practices whilst undertaking your duties at all times. To act in accordance with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and practices highlighting any issues appropriately. Work flexibly and be receptive and adaptable to a changing environment within a fast expanding Company. Undertake any other reasonable tasks as directed by management. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Detailed understanding of the Interiors and Office Furniture sector. Excellent selling and presentation skills. Strategic thinker particularly with regard to clients and broader opportunities. Strong team player and ability to communicate with people of all levels. Tenacious and focused on long term strategy. Able to work unsupervised. Positive, forward thinking and persuasive.
