Role Overview:
As the Global CFO, you will be a critical leader, responsible for shaping and executing the company’s financial strategy, managing risk, and ensuring financial health. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide strategic guidance, ensure financial transparency, and foster relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, banks, and regulatory bodies. This role is ideal for a financial leader with a proven track record in the fashion or retail sector who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of the company’s global financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to provide insights and recommendations that drive operational efficiency and profitability.
- Global Expansion and Market Penetration: Support the company’s continued global expansion, identifying opportunities for growth and optimizing the financial structure to meet the demands of new markets.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure robust financial controls, compliance with international regulations, and effective risk management across all regions.
- Investor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for shareholders and investors, delivering clear, transparent communication regarding the company’s financial performance and growth potential.
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize financial systems, processes, and technology to enhance financial reporting and streamline operations across regions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a global finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive in a multinational retail or fashion organization.
- Expertise in financial strategy, FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting at a global level.
- Strong understanding of global markets, particularly in emerging regions.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing complex financial operations, including currency exchange, tax, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with external stakeholders, including investors and financial institutions.
- CPA, ACCA, or relevant financial qualifications; MBA is a plus.
