Group Financial Reporting Accountant

Location: Central London / Hybrid

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Generous Package and Bonus

A prestigious FTSE 100 property business is seeking a skilled and driven Group Financial Reporting Accountant to join its dynamic Central London team. This permanent position is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who is passionate about advancing their career in a high-caliber financial reporting team. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior finance professionals, including the Group Finance Director, gaining exposure to a broad range of financial processes and responsibilities, particularly in managing and reporting on net rental income. You’ll play a crucial role in the half-yearly and quarterly reporting cycles, while also supporting statutory accounts and corporate tax filings, providing a strong foundation for career growth within this blue-chip organization.

Key responsibilities will include preparing consolidated financial statements, managing quarterly joint venture reports, and developing insights through analysis of actual performance against budget and forecast. You’ll also lead in the preparation of financial elements for board packs and investor reports, serve as a trusted financial contact for internal and external stakeholders, and support ad-hoc projects around transactions and restructurings. This role offers the chance to build strong stakeholder management skills and enhance technical expertise, with ample training and learning resources available to support your development.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated, technically proficient accountant with a strong background in financial reporting, eager to take ownership of high-profile responsibilities and work closely with cross-functional teams. You should be comfortable handling detailed data analysis and conveying complex financial information to both finance and non-finance professionals. If you’re ready to bring a proactive, growth-oriented approach to an influential role with a market-leading FTSE 100 organization, this could be the ideal next step in your career.
