Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a listed business, leading in the medical research space. Due to an internal promotion in the team, they are now looking to hire a Group Financial Accountant.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with a technical background who is looking for large amounts of accountability and responsibility in a broad, hands-on role.
Skills/experience required:
- ACA qualified (or equivalent)
- Qualified through an audit scheme (such as Big 4)
- Experience leading on audits under IFRS
- Strong working knowledge of group consolidations
Main responsibilities:
- Preparation of the monthly consolidated accounts, including commentary on transactions
- Support on the preparation of the annual budgeting process, including partnering with budget holders around their forecast.
- Compliance with regulation and all legal requirements, including tax
- Owning the year end audit process, including the preparation of statutory consolidated accounts
