Your new role They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Financial Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the accuracy and compliance of the financial accounts are maintained in accordance with the companies' accounting standards, as well as supporting the management and implementation of group-wide processes. What you'll need to succeed Duties for this role will include: Actively supporting the statutory audit Preparation of the UK GAAP (FRS102) Financial Statements Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Proactively verify and test new tools whilst ensuring compliance with the process standards Review and create process documentation to be considered and adopted in the financial accounting manual Hosting monthly meetings with stakeholders regarding the preparation of financial statements Review of the monthly financial statements of the group entities to ensure compliance with IFRS standards and internal guidelines What you'll get in return This is a great job that will suit either someone who is currently working in a similar role within industry and who is looking to work for a large, global business, or a first-time mover out of practice who is looking for their first move into industry.
