Location: Blackburn | Private Equity Backed Services Business | Role for an ambitious individual Axon Moore is recruiting a Group Financial Controller for a rapidly growing private equity backed business in Blackburn. Please note:
This is a technically broad and challenging role and therefore the client has specifically limited their search to candidates with strong technical experience. Our client has experienced year-on-year growth and has developed into a major UK competitor within their field of expertise. They're private equity backed and have seen rapid expansion in recent years that has been down to both organic growth (trading off their strong brand position) and through M&A fuelled by their investors. The business is now entering its next phase of development as it matures and consolidates its strong position. Key to this next phase will be the hiring of a talented and ambitious Group Financial Controller who can progress with the business. The ideal candidate will be ACA trained, with audit or industry experience within FS (desirable). The candidate will ideally have 4 - 8 years post-qualification experience in industry working in a technical role in a challenging industry. The candidate will be rounded and mature enough to assist board meetings and do presentations to a wide variety of stakeholders.
