Our technology client is looking for a Group Financial Controller to report directly to the CFO. This role will be a great opportunity to be part of a senior leadership team. Our client has recently received a large investment in the hundreds of millions. This role will be key to the business's operational strategy in ensuring they achieve their growth goals:
Key Duties:
- Implement and develop systems, policies, and processes to continuously improve and support the control and reporting environment.
- Ensure adequate internal controls are in place.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual financial reporting meeting the needs of the business, including statutory reporting, management reporting, and group consolidation.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Maintain documentation and ensure proper execution of transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate VAT and tax reporting and filings.
- Support the Finance stream of the ERP project implementation in order to improve and automate finance tasks and financial reporting processes and ensure a smooth integration with operations.
The Person:
- ACA qualified accountant (At least 7 years post-qualified experience).
- Previous experience within a private equity environment.
- Extensive group reporting experience.
- Track record of business finance continuous improvement.
- Prior experience in the technology or IT services sector.
