The Role of Group Financial Controller
Reporting to the Finance Director, your duties will include but are not limited to: Financial lead on leadership team meetings Budgeting and forecasting Monthly management accounts including the month end close process: Closing the sub-ledgers Flash reporting Accruals and prepayments Month end balance sheet reconciliations Fixed assets Group cash forecasting and management, including group financing arrangements Completion and submission of the quarterly VAT returns and other statutory compliance Preparing and submitting the annual statutory account and associated tax filings Leading the management/improvement of the ERP system The Candidate for Group Financial Controller
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within the Manufacturing/Construction industry. Proven experience in financial reporting, statutory accounts preparation, and compliance ideally including IFRS15 and 16 Expertise in contract evaluation, investment appraisal, and corporate tax matters. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders. This can be a hybrid or largely remote role but you must be prepared to visit the head office which is in Kent once a week.
