Group Financial Controller

who will work closely with the CFO and Senior Leadership Team in delivering all aspects of financial management to the business. This will be an exciting journey for the selected candidate, joining at the start of a transformation in both scale and operations of the business, backing the strategy of a Chairman with a proven successful track record of delivering significant increases in shareholder value. The Role

Reporting to the CFO, this broad Group Financial Controller role plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial reporting, FP&A, working capital management, and financial internal controls. Key responsibilities include: Leadership

of the finance team. Financial Reporting

– monthly management reports, interim and full year regulatory reporting under IFRS. Financial Systems & Controls

- Maintain robust system, accounting, and process financial controls. Working Capital Management

– AP & AR, cashflow forecasting, main bank contact. Financial Planning

– Budgeting & Forecasting, providing commercial financial insight and analysis to the Leadership team. Audit & Taxation . Business Partnering

– Partnering and Decision Support to the Operational teams. The Candidate

Fully qualified ACA or ACCA with sound technical accounting skills and business acumen. Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and reporting, ideally in listed business. Experience in an acquisitive business would be advantageous. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Experienced using financial software and ERP systems. This will be an interesting and exciting role, providing the opportunity to play a key role from the beginning of a journey in building and scaling a UK leading AI Services business, working with an inspirational Chairman and some of the leading lights in the emerging UK AI sector.
