An exciting opportunity has arisen for a leading East Lancashire business, who due to continued year on year growth are now looking to appoint a Group Financial Controller. Reporting to the MD, this post will suit an ambitious newly qualified accountant who will benefit from the experience of a fast-paced, highly change-driven environment. A summary of duties will include: Delivering the consolidation and reporting excellence. Ensuring that monthly and periodic reporting is complete, accurate and conforms to applicable accounting standards under the strictest of financial controls. External reporting encompasses Annual/Quarterly consolidations as well as reporting to key stakeholders and certain regulatory filings. Process improvement and development across all accounting, cash collection and reporting functions, leveraging functionality from the accounting platform. Development of strong commercial partnerships across the events management and commercial teams. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate advanced Excel skills as well as strong communication skills.
