As part of their continued growth, they are now looking for an ambitious Group Financial Controller to join their Sheffield-based team.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the CFO, driving financial excellence across the UK and global subsidiaries. If you are ready to bring your expertise, problem-solving skills, and passion for progress to a truly innovative company, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

As Group Financial Controller, you will collaborate with the CFO, the Deputy Financial Controller, and finance teams across subsidiaries to:

Oversee the general ledger, fixed asset registers, and inventory accounts for the company and its global subsidiaries.

Support annual audits and prepare quarterly management accounts.

Manage regulatory filings with Companies House.

Administer quarterly VAT returns and oversee annual corporate tax submissions.

Manage monthly payroll processes and year-end tasks, including issuance of P60s.

Manage bank accounts, liquidity, and payments, ensuring foreign currency availability where required.

Assist in management of grants including preparation of payment requests.

Prepare and consolidate monthly cashflow forecasts, leading cashflow meetings.

Support procurement scenario planning and other strategic initiatives.

About You:

Qualified and Experienced: Holds a university degree and an accounting qualification (CIMA preferred), with at least six years of relevant experience.

Collaborative: Thrives in a team-oriented, entrepreneurial environment.

Detail-Oriented and Proactive: Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
