Group Financial Controller

to help steer our growing business, ensuring financial health and supporting our mission to be a leader in the luxury organic space. About the Role

As the

Group Financial Controller , you will be a key member of the leadership team, working closely with the CFO to provide strategic financial insights and support that will drive our business forward. You will oversee the financial operations across the group, ensuring robust financial performance while maintaining our commitment to sustainability. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership : Take full responsibility for managing and overseeing the finance function across the business. Ensure high standards of financial governance, control, and compliance. Financial Reporting & Analysis : Lead the production of monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, and Group consolidations. Provide clear, insightful financial analysis to senior leadership, guiding strategic decisions. Treasury & Cashflow Management : Own and manage the company's cash flow, ensuring optimal liquidity and effective treasury operations to support growth and sustainability. Strategic Financial Planning : Drive the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial strategy. Lead the development and maintenance of the company’s 5-year plan, aligning financial goals with business objectives. Team Leadership : Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing finance team. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the department. Key Skills and Experience Qualified Accountant : ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with significant experience in a senior financial role within a multi-business unit environment. Experience in luxury, retail, hospitality, or sustainable consumer goods is highly desirable. Financial Expertise : Strong technical expertise in UK GAAP and IFRS with the ability to produce high-quality financial reports, consolidations, and analysis. Leadership and Team Development : Proven experience in leading, managing, and developing high-performing finance teams, with a focus on nurturing talent and promoting a positive, results-driven culture. Strategic Thinker : Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically while also being hands-on. Ability to manage complex financial challenges and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Communication Skills : Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and convey complex financial information clearly and concisely. Sustainability Focused : A genuine interest in sustainability and organic products, with an understanding of how financial decisions can support long-term environmental and social goals. ?
