Our client a national charity who provide social support and care are going through an exciting period of growth and change. This Group Head of HR position offers the chance to lead the development and execution of the organisation’s HR Strategy and Strategic Workforce Development Plan . You’ll work closely with a passionate leadership team, driving a culture of respect, responsibility, honesty, and excellence while building a high-performing workforce. This hybrid role will be based in Glasgow with travel to national sites as and when required. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement an innovative HR strategy that supports organisational goals. Oversee the full employee lifecycle , including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and exit processes. Lead culture transformation through engagement and behavioral change strategies. Champion talent development by introducing career pathways, performance frameworks, and learning programs. Drive employee attraction, retention, and engagement through creative employer branding strategies. Provide expert guidance on employment law and compliance , minimising risks. What We’re Looking For: Proven strategic leadership in a similar-sized, complex organisation. CIPD Membership or equivalent qualification. Strong expertise in organisational change management and workforce development. A collaborative and results-driven approach with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience working within the third sector, ideally within social care This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of an organisation’s growth journey, shaping its future and creating meaningful impact across the UK.
